Quick story to this one.....So we are cruising along and all of a suddon the guy driving the boat (who's name just so happens to be PHIL COLLINS!) slams on the breaks (not really, just kills the throttle). Low and behold we almost ran over a humpback whale. Probably came within 15 yards of creaming the whales back...or the whale creaming us!

Don't really have much time so I'm going to cut straight to the photos.

Real quick update: I have landed in Kodiak. It is a most wonderful city, and have felt very welcomed here thus far. I can update a little bit more later...until then, here are some photos from the sumemr:
